Eloping in Canmore

With soo many restrictions going on in the past year almost two, couples need to make decisions on whether or not they are getting married. Some couples want an elaborate large wedding which will have to wait till its permitted but other are happy just getting out to have an intimate elopement. Canmore is a perfect place to have your ceremony and the photo images or video that you can get here is amazing. Ive been doing weddings for over 28 year in many capacities from working in hotels , shooting photo video ( which I still do) and then becoming a marriage commissioner in 2014 to continue to help couples realize their wedding day.

Here are some simple tips for an elopement in Canmore at the time of posting no more than 10 people at your ceremony.

Go to the registry get your license

Get two friends or family members as witnesses must be at least 18 years of age

Select an outdoor location as this is easier then being inside

Find a space that is away from busy places lots of spaces in Canmore

Plan if possible for a midweek ceremony as there are usually less people around

Film the ceremony - set up a camera to film it or hire someone Aydinweddings.com and share the ceremony with family and friends later. Like this below.
